I see Saturn, no maybe Macbeth, Lear? You give good goth Sir Murph. What a captivating peep at the scene.

Not sure where Saturn comes in, or even really Lear, but Macbeth we'll be able to accept, as it's a standard thing to say when tyrants are brought down. So, all hail Macbeth, I guess?

Glad you enjoy peeping thru the peephole but I always did suspect that to be the case.

"Certain actions at this time are automatic, foreordained. All sounds have stopped, even rain, even breaths. The moment stands still and heavy, waiting for its next move."

Even my own breath, at this very moment... just brilliant. 👏

Whoa.. I think I lost my surroundings while reading, and I'm still not sure they've returned. This is one of those pieces where saying OMG doesn't cut it. That frail shortcut must be expressed fully. Oh my god, nicely done Murphy of the Strangeness. A great tale.

I had the privilege of reading this fantastic story a few months ago. To see it here again has me reaching for the scotch again. Damn you! But thank you.
